How to hire a car with driver in 4 steps

1. Pick your date and pickup time. Available from 7:00am.
2. Send your rough plan. Tell us your pickup address, the number of passengers, any child seat ages, your preferred car and the places you want to visit. You can change the plan on the day.
3. Get confirmation. We confirm your car and driver details on WhatsApp.
4. Meet your private driver. The driver arrives at your hotel or address and stays with you all day.

Driver with car or a self-drive rental?

If you plan four or more stops in a day, hiring a car and driver usually costs less than taxis and saves time, because it removes surge pricing and the dead time spent waiting at each pickup. For a single journey such as an airport run, a private airport transfer is cheaper.

Sample days with a private car and driver

• Sightseeing day: Al Fahidi and the Creek, then the Dubai Frame, Downtown and Dubai Mall, Jumeirah with a Burj Al Arab photo stop, the Palm and Dubai Marina.

Going outside Dubai

The standard day covers the emirate of Dubai. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the northern emirates are available on request and quoted separately because of the distance involved.

A full Abu Dhabi day is a common request and works well in this format, since the alternative is three separate taxi journeys in an unfamiliar city. The usual combination is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Watan and Louvre Abu Dhabi, with the driving handled for you.

Practical notes

• Your driver is an experienced local driver, not a licensed tour guide. Say so when booking if you want guiding.
• Fuel, Salik road tolls and parking are all included, and there are no per-stop charges inside the booked hours.
• Child seats are available on request at no extra charge. Ask when you book, with the ages, rather than on the day.
• Tell us your group size and luggage and we send the right car from the three above.
• No extra charge if your day runs over, so you do not need to watch the clock.
• Waiting time is included throughout, so a long lunch or a slow queue costs you nothing extra.

If you only need one journey

A full day is not always the right purchase. For a single airport run, an Al Maktoum transfer or a DXB transfer is cheaper and simpler, and includes flight monitoring and meet-and-greet, which a day hire does not.
