Dubai Miracle Garden is the one major Dubai attraction you can only visit in the cooler months, which is why most of the questions people search for are really about timing: when it opens, what the hours are, how much the tickets cost and whether there is any way in for free. This guide answers all of them for the 2026–27 season, with the practical detail that decides how good your visit actually is.
Quick answer: Dubai Miracle Garden Season 15 opened on 8 October 2026 and runs until 31 May 2027. It is open daily from 9am to 9pm on weekdays and 9am to 11pm on weekends, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Tickets for international visitors start from about AED 105 for adults and AED 84 for children, children under three enter free, and UAE residents pay less with an Emirates ID.

Dubai Miracle Garden opening date and season months for 2026–27
The garden's 15th season opened on Thursday, 8 October 2026, and is scheduled to run every day until 31 May 2027. The opening came a couple of weeks later than the team had first planned; the garden's management said the late-summer weather pushed it back, and that the planting would keep filling out as the cooler months arrived.
That pattern is worth understanding, because it explains the whole calendar. Miracle Garden is entirely outdoors and planted with living flowers, so it cannot survive a Dubai summer. It closes from roughly June to September for maintenance and replanting, then reopens once temperatures start to drop. The exact opening date shifts a little each year: Season 14 opened on 29 September 2025, Season 15 on 8 October 2026.
| Period | Garden status | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| October | Open (from 8 Oct) | Still warm and humid. Planting is young and fills in through the month. |
| November – February | Open | The best window. Mild weather and the densest, most complete displays. |
| March – April | Open | Warming up. Go early in the day; shade becomes valuable. |
| May | Open until 31 May | Hot by late morning. Displays are past their peak by the end of the month. |
| June – September | Closed | Summer closure. The indoor Butterfly Garden next door stays open. |
Each season also has its own programme. For 2026–27 the theme is "Fifteen Years, Blooming Together", with a different celebration each week. The opening months include Pink October, United Nations Day, UAE Flag Day and Diwali, followed by events for Commemoration Day and Eid Al Etihad, plus activity during the Dubai Fitness Challenge. If you want a quieter visit, check the garden's events page before choosing a date, since themed weeks can bring bigger crowds.
If you are still choosing when to travel, our month-by-month guide to the best time to visit Dubai shows how the garden's season fits with the weather, prices and other seasonal attractions.
Miracle Garden Dubai timings
For Season 15 the garden opens every day of the season:
- Weekdays: 9:00am to 9:00pm
- Weekends: 9:00am to 11:00pm
- Last entry: 30 minutes before closing
- Re-entry: not allowed. Tickets are valid for a single entry only
The garden notes that hours can change on public holidays and special event days, so check the official site for the day you plan to go. Some ticketed morning events, such as runs, walks and cycling sessions, take place before the garden's regular 9am opening and need their own event ticket.
Best time of day to visit
Right at opening is the best slot for most people. The light is soft, the temperature is comfortable, and the famous tunnels and arches are empty enough to photograph without other visitors in every frame. This matters most in October, April and May, when midday heat makes a long walk outdoors hard work.
Late afternoon into evening is the alternative. The heat drops after sunset and the garden's lighting changes its character completely. The trade-off is crowds: weekend evenings are the busiest time of the week, and getting a taxi out at closing can be slow.
Best months to visit
December to February gives the best combination of mild weather and full planting. November and March are close behind. October is fine but warm, and the displays are still filling in during the first weeks of the season.
Weekday mornings are the quietest time of the whole week. If your dates are flexible, a Tuesday or Wednesday at 9am will give you a very different garden from a Saturday at 6pm.
Dubai Miracle Garden ticket price for 2026–27
Ticket prices depend on whether you are visiting from abroad or living in the UAE. Residents and nationals get a discounted rate when they show a valid Emirates ID. Here are the Season 15 prices published at launch:
| Ticket | International visitors | UAE residents and nationals |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | From AED 105 | AED 70 + VAT |
| Child | From AED 84 | AED 50 + VAT |
| Child under 3 | Free | Free |
| Miracle Garden + Butterfly Garden combo | AED 140 + VAT (check which visitor category applies when booking) | |
Child age bands have varied between seasons (recent seasons used roughly 3 to 12 or 3 to 13). The current age band is shown when you book. Resident prices require a valid Emirates ID at entry.
Where to buy Miracle Garden tickets
There are three practical ways to get in:
- Official website. The garden sells tickets online and sends them by WhatsApp and email as a QR code you scan at the gate.
- Through a tour operator. Our Dubai Miracle Garden entry tickets are listed from AED 98 per person, with instant confirmation and free cancellation up to 24 hours before your visit.
- At the gate. Possible, but you lose time queuing, and resident rates still need your Emirates ID.
If you buy through any third party, keep your booking confirmation handy on your phone. The garden runs a help page for third-party tickets in case anything doesn't scan at the gate.
Is there free entry to Dubai Miracle Garden?
For most visitors, no: entry is ticketed. There are a few genuine ways to get in free or at a reduced price, though, and they are worth knowing.
- Children under three enter free. Bring proof of age, such as a passport or Emirates ID.
- Birthday tickets for UAE residents. Residents with a valid Emirates ID can register on the garden's birthday programme page to receive two complimentary tickets for a birthday that falls during the season. The tickets arrive by email and WhatsApp two days before the birthday, and family and friends who come along get a discount.
- Free ticket promotions. The garden occasionally releases limited free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. They are not always running, so check the official site rather than counting on one.
- Community offers for residents. In past seasons the garden has run limited free or heavily discounted entry for residents, such as free access during part of Ramadan in March 2026. These are announced individually and are not guaranteed to repeat.
- People of Determination. The garden offers concessions for People of Determination and a carer. Confirm the current terms in the official FAQ before you visit.
The birthday programme and resident offers are tied to an Emirates ID. If you are visiting from abroad, the realistic saving is booking in advance rather than paying at the gate.
Miracle Garden Dubai tour tickets and price
The ticket is only half the cost of the visit. The garden is in Dubailand, there is no metro station within walking distance, and getting a taxi out at closing time can mean a long wait while surge pricing kicks in. That is why many visitors book a "Miracle Garden tour", which simply means entry plus transport, rather than a guided walk.
Here is how the options compare:
Entry ticket only
From AED 98
Admission only. Best if you are driving, already have a driver, or are happy to arrange your own taxi both ways.
See entry ticketsTicket with hotel transfer
From AED 260
Entry plus return pickup from your Dubai hotel in an air-conditioned car, about two hours in the garden, and four to five hours door to door.
See the transfer packagePrivate car with driver
From AED 645
A car and driver for the day, so you can pair the gardens with anywhere else in the city at your own pace. Entry tickets are bought separately.
See car with driverPrices shown are as listed on dubextours.com on 10 October 2026 and are per person, except car hire, which is per vehicle.
Is the transfer package worth it?
It depends on where you are staying and who you are travelling with. The transfer usually pays for itself for families with young children or pushchairs, visitors without a car, people staying in Deira or Bur Dubai (where return taxi fares are longer), and anyone visiting on a weekend evening, when demand for rides at closing is highest. If you are staying near Al Barsha or Dubai Marina and travelling as a couple, an entry ticket plus a taxi is usually cheaper.
How to get to Dubai Miracle Garden
The garden is in Al Barsha South 3, part of the Dubailand area, near the junction of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Umm Suqeim Road. Your options:
- Taxi or ride-hailing: the simplest way in. Allow roughly 20 minutes from Dubai Marina and 25 minutes from Downtown outside rush hour. Getting back out at closing is the slow part.
- Metro and bus: take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates, then RTA bus 105, which the garden lists as a direct connection. You can also take a short taxi from the mall.
- Driving: the garden has an on-site car park, and it is the easiest way to arrive if you have a hire car.
- Hotel transfer: the Miracle Garden package with return transfer handles both directions and includes entry.

What to see inside Dubai Miracle Garden
The garden covers about 72,000 square metres, with more than 200 million flowers from over 150 varieties arranged into more than 50 displays this season. It is best understood as a designed spectacle rather than a botanical collection: the flowers are a building material for sculptures, tunnels and life-size structures. The layout changes every season, so even returning visitors find something new.
The Emirates A380
A full-size Airbus A380 covered in living flowers, and the most photographed display in the garden. It has earned the garden a Guinness World Records title. Expect a queue for the classic front-on photo at busy times.
Heart Tunnel and Umbrella Passage
Two walk-through passages, one of floral heart-shaped arches and one with a canopy of colourful umbrellas, which also gives you some welcome shade. Both are at their best in the first hour after opening, before they fill with people.
Floral Castle and Floral Clock
The castle is the tallest structure in the garden and makes a useful landmark if you lose your bearings. The Floral Clock is one of the garden's long-running classic displays.
Floating Lady, Teddy Bear and Smurfs Village
The Floating Lady is listed as a new display this season. Families tend to head straight for the giant teddy bear and Smurfs Village, the licensed themed section that younger children love.
Sunflower Field and Hill Top
The sunflower field is a favourite photo spot, and Hill Top gives you a view back across the garden's colour beds, which is the best way to appreciate the scale of the place.
Go to the A380 first if you arrive at opening, then work your way through the passages. Most visitors do it the other way round, so you will be moving against the crowd.
Adding the Dubai Butterfly Garden
The Dubai Butterfly Garden sits right next to Miracle Garden and is a separate attraction with its own ticket. It is made up of climate-controlled domes with thousands of free-flying butterflies, so it makes a natural cool-down after an hour or two outdoors. Unlike Miracle Garden, it stays open all year.
The practical order is Miracle Garden first while it is cooler, then the air-conditioned Butterfly Garden afterwards. Allow 60 to 90 minutes for the butterflies. The official combo ticket for both gardens is AED 140 + VAT. If you book our transfer package, tell us you want to add the Butterfly Garden and the driver can allow time for both.
Visitor tips, rules and mistakes to avoid
Garden rules worth knowing before you go
- No outside food or drinks. There are cafés and food outlets inside.
- No pets, and no bicycles, scooters, hoverboards or balls.
- No drones or professional camera equipment without permission from the management office. Phones and ordinary cameras are fine.
- No smoking anywhere in the garden.
- Don't pick or touch the flowers. Staff enforce this rule.
- Single entry only. Once you leave, you need a new ticket to return.
Practical tips
- Allow two to three hours. The site is bigger than photos suggest and it is all walking.
- Wear comfortable shoes and sun protection, even in winter. Shade is limited.
- The garden is wheelchair and stroller friendly, though some paths have gravel sections.
- Book your ticket before you go so you can walk straight in with a QR code.
Common mistakes
- Planning a summer visit. The garden is closed from June to September. In summer, the Butterfly Garden and The Green Planet are the indoor alternatives.
- Arriving at midday in October or May. It is hot, and you'll rush the visit.
- Not planning the ride home. Taxi demand peaks at closing on weekends. Book a transfer or schedule your pickup in advance.
- Assuming the Butterfly Garden is included. It needs a separate ticket or the combo.

Can I visit Dubai Miracle Garden in summer?
No. The garden closes from June to September. The indoor Dubai Butterfly Garden next door stays open all year and is the usual alternative.
Is Dubai Miracle Garden worth visiting?
Yes, if you go at the right time. It is unapologetically over the top: an aircraft made of flowers, tunnels of hearts, a castle in full bloom. Visited on a mild winter morning, before the crowds, it is one of the most enjoyable few hours you can spend in Dubai, and it is especially good with children and anyone who loves taking photos. Visited at 1pm in late May, it is a hot walk past tired flower beds.
Choose a morning between November and February if you can, sort out your transport before you go, and add the Butterfly Garden next door if you have the time.
